Trial of The Gods

A short text adventure I made to practice programming.

You are a lone warrior, stood before the entrance to the Trial of The Gods. You have only your trusty sword, your sturdy shield, and a single healing potion, will these be enough to brave whatever challenges the Gods have in store for you?

Every action you take, they are watching. Every decision, they are judging. As you persevere through the horrific chambers of the trial, what will they think of your efforts? Do the Gods even favor a hero?

The game itself is a series of combat encounters in which the enemies telegraph their actions before they move. After the enemy telegraphs its action, the player may choose to attack, defend, drink a healing potion or run. How you choose to deal with these encounters will decide the ways in which the Gods will favor you.
